Sophisticated Yellow And Gray Shower

This beautiful, Sophisticated Yellow And Gray Shower was perfectly coordinated by Preppy Chic Events who used the artistic and elegant work of Cherish Paperie to create a memorable event for a lovely bride-to-be.

A welcome sign in yellow and gray set the tone for the party with a floral art background that looked gorgeous. Invitations to the party matched this sign, making a fluid look that was sure to impress.

The party was held outdoors on a wonderful, sunshiny day, so all of the decor was brightly lit.

The guest tables were stunning with unique place settings with all sorts of yellow vintage style glasses for the guests to drink from. The centerpieces were a fantastic array of flowers and plant life in short, white vases. Chairs in white and brown gave a shabby chic look that was cozy and inviting. Burlap runners on each table made a perfect accent to the natural wood of each table.

Delicious margaritas in golden and strawberry flavors were set out in easy beverage dispensers, so guests could pour themselves. As a standout at this party the recipe for the Golden margarita was shared so you can try it out too!

Golden Margarita Recipe:

1 1/2 shots tequila

1 1/2 shots Grand Marnier® orange liqueur

1 shot lime juice

1 shot sweet and sour mix

Shake ingredients vigorously with crushed ice in a shaker glass, and pour over crushed ice in a lightly salted margarita glass. Garnish with a twist of lime and serve with two cocktail straws.

For dessert, a beautifully ribbon frosted cake was made, in a range of adorable yellow tones that made it a perfect addition to this party.

Travel Inspired Bridal Shower

This Travel Inspired Bridal Shower was created with the innovative skill of Pocket Full of Parties. Using a nice mix of bold orange and soft blue tones, the venue for this event was fantastic.

The dessert table was full of neat travel based decorations along with sweet treats that was sure to keep the guests happy. A backdrop was made from a map and bordered with orange and white stripes, allowing it to stand out dramatically.

Each edible was labeled with a personalized tag that had a map and an airplane on it for effect. There were actually chocolate airplane lollipops placed in a neat little lunch box holder that drew the eye. Other delicious additions to this table included blue and orange macaroons, sugar cookies shaped into travel items like airplanes.

There were several unique decorations that made this party a one-of-a-kind. A globe stood on one end of the table beside a vase full of wonderful map pinwheels. There were also adorable little umbrellas made from maps as well. On the other side of the table a vintage plane stood displaying an adorable orange and blue sign. Map piggy banks made another cute addition to the table.

Little flower bouquets were perfect fillers throughout the table with white and orange blooms that looked quite lovely. They even had little signs with places around the world on them in adorable fonts and patterns. Cupcakes were frosted in a delightful light blue color and had airplane labels for a sweet accent.

A tower of treats stood on top of a vintage suitcase holding a fun arrangement of chocolate bars, salt water taffy, peanuts and more. Individually wrapped in personalized packaging, each of these could be taken home and enjoyed. The top of the suitcase even had a label saying, “In Flight Snacks” and had passports, tickets and a key on it.

Sophisticated Kate Spade Inspired Bridal Shower

Paula from 14 & Hudson helped to create memories that would last forever with this Sophisticated Kate Spade Inspired Bridal Shower. From the intricate flower arrangements to the abundance of framed art throughout the venue, this party had all sorts of fantastic details.

At the front of the room a small table held a gorgeous tower of balloons with glitter, along with a photo of the happy couple and a sign welcoming all the guests to this special celebration of the future.

Round guest tables allowed for an intimate setting for friends and family, each one was covered in a black cover along with a fun black and white striped runner to go with the Kate Spade theme perfectly. A sprinkle of gold and pink heart confetti made a cute addition to the look. At the center of each table a number was placed beside a lovely arrangement of flowers in a small vase. Each place setting even had a menu, so everyone would know what was available to eat.

To make this party unique, the dessert table featured a “pimp your cupcake” idea that allowed everyone to place tasty toppings on delicious looking cupcakes. This table was covered in a brilliant pink, shimmering cover. Tiny hearts were hung by strings over a window that acted as the backdrop to this table. Another tasty dessert on this table were powdered donuts that were decorated with diamond shaped toppers, making them look like scrumptious rings!

One innovative idea used at this party to involve the guests in the fun was a date night jar, where everyone wrote down a fun idea for a date on a popsicle stick. With an abundance of ideas added to the jar this couple was sure to stay busy for a long time!
