Using the bride-to-be’s love of Tuscany, Lina of A Stunning Affair brought together a dream celebration based on this lovely locale. With her intricate planning and gorgeous photos from Christine Haws Photography, this party was certain to be a memorable experience for all who attended.

The venue set was outdoors on a bright sunny day, creating a lighthearted atmosphere for the guests. Each bit of decor was vibrant with color, giving the yard a natural and fun look. Yellow was the main theme color, being integrated into all of the decor beautifully. The yard even had a lemon tree, giving a natural effect that went brilliantly with the Tuscany theme.

The tables for the guests to sit at were set up in long rectangles, bringing everyone together in a cozy family style.  Umbrellas were placed down the line to provide a sweet look and a bit of shade. Each individual place setting had an adorable sunflower with a tag, dividing up teams for a fun party event.  Using a neutral tone for the table cover, the bright yellow color of the flowers stood out dramatically. The chairs had a nice neutral tone as well. Centerpieces used for the guest tables were fantastic floral arrangements with lemons for added effect.

Food was served on pizza stones, giving an authentic Italian vibe and peach Bellinis was the beverage of choice.  With tasty red velvet cupcakes featuring cream cheese frosting, this gathering had a bit of everything you could want.

Some cute activities included at this sweet party included a trivia quiz to see who knew the bride-to-be the best, it was printed and placed on a neat yellow frame. And no party would be complete without a little Jeopardy! From the decor to the games, this event was sure to be enjoyed.

Yellow Bird Daisy Bridal Shower

It is always wonderful when the weather cooperates and parties can be thrown outdoors in the bright sun. An adorable “Here Comes the Bride” welcome sign was placed out front with handwriting on a chalkboard so all of the guests would know they were at the right spot.

Out in the yard the table was set up family style, ensuring a warm and cozy atmosphere. Taking advantage of a fantastic tree overhanging the yard, cute little paper bells were hung on bright yellow crimped strings, filling the area with theme-based art.

The table cover had a sweet yellow polka dots and white poms that made a wonderful base for the bright yellow and white daisies that ran along the length of the whole thing. They were set in glasses and slim vases to give a neat effect. The chairs matched the look with a classic white color. Each place setting had a napkin that was tied off with little daisy decorations.

Delicious foods were offered like fresh fruit salad, so the guests could all enjoy a little something. Each item had a personalized tag to add to the theme while letting everyone know what there was to try.  Each bit of venue was decorated to match the yellow theme perfectly.

One adorable decoration that was definitely one-of-a-kind were little yellow birds made of metal. They had a vintage-style with little daisy eyes that looked fantastic. To finish them off, each had a daisy placed on top. Theses were set with the beverages, giving a bold yellow touch to the look.

Alice in Wonderland Tea Party Bridal Shower

Using the whimsical fun of the classic Alice in Wonderland, hosts Susan and Dawn created a magical experience for their best friend’s daughter’s celebration. Chrystal Cienfuegos Photography captured this event in exquisite detailing. A favorite section of the tale brings Alice to a mad tea party, which was used for this wonderful theme.  With a blend of fabulous colors and all sorts of eclectic decor, this party was certain to be a blast!

The innovation with the decorations was outstanding. A sign was made with arrows pointing in all directions with fun little words and each was painted in different colors with fun pictures of flowers and butterflies to add a soft touch.  The bold display of colors everywhere really made this event one of a kind.  Each bit of decor had it’s own unique look, giving a fantastic imaginative effect.

One guest table was covered with a deep purple cloth, so the white tea set stood out marvelously along with the bright napkins and flowers.  A fun centerpiece with flowers stood in the center very tall so the guests could still easily see each other when sitting.  It was decorated with fun little dangling strands for a neat look. All sorts of chairs were used, giving that eccentric look that we all associate with the Mad hatter’s tea party.  And no Alice adventure would be complete without an assortment of clocks around!.

Other fun details included beverages tagged with little notes saying “Drink” in vintage style fonts and food with tags saying “Eat” to match. Giant colorful poms hung from the ceiling to fill the room with the vibrant tones. For a delicious treat a two-layer cake was made and decorated to match the tea party theme splendidly. It had red diamonds around the bottom layer and a neat little handle and steam decoration on the top layer.

The bride to be, Alicia and her sister Cristina took the wheel with this event, handling the fantastic decorations from top to bottom. The venue chosen was a wonderful choice for the classy and fashion-forward Paris theme with massive, elegant light fixtures and light-toned floors, walls and ceiling.

Round tables were used to create a cozy seating option for the guests and the tables were beautifully detailed.  Silver covers for each table draped all the way to the floor, giving an elegant vibe. The chairs matched perfectly. The centerpieces for each table added to the decor with a natural touch.  Pretty vases held arrangements of flowers in soft shades of pink and white, complementing the decor without taking over the room.

So of the small details that brought this event a unique look included an ornately framed note saying, “Alicia Bride to Be” in a lovely font. Other touches included a tall Eiffel tower wrapped in a string of pretty flowers, glass slippers, and even a little mannequin wearing strings of pearls.

The snacks all blended with the theme seamlessly with soft colors and tasty looking detailing. Sugar cookies shaped as wedding dresses were all perfectly placed on a tray, little martini glasses with a tasty treat beckoned with dollops of cream on top. And no party is complete without yummy macarons to munch on. Every part of this event was executed to perfection, ensuring a one-of-a-kind celebration to enjoy.

One fantastic touch used for this party was the ladies who attended themselves, all adorned in black besides the pretty bride-to-be who, of course, stole the show in a gorgeous white dress.  All were perfectly decked out in shimmering jewelry, ensuring that the event would exude sophistication and fun.

The venue was stunning, a massive room with a stage for all of the entertaining. Each table was covered in a black cloth as well as the chairs, creating a uniform look that stood out. Silver was used to add a bright and elegant touch to all of the decor. The chairs were wrapped in giant silver sashes, silver chargers were placed in front of each guests seat, even silver runners went down the center of every table.

Adorable little gift boxes were prepared for the guests, round vibrant pink beauties tied with sheer black ribbons and topped with a cute flower.

The desserts were spectacular in their detailing, mini cupcakes frosted in white and pink and topped with flowers of the opposite color.  They were set on an elegant tiered tray, making it simple for guests to grab and go. Cookies were frosted in white and lined in pink, making each look like a wedding dress, giving an adorable effect.

The cake was a vision of perfection with three layers of classic beauty that was topped with a pink and black purse and of course, a black high-heel. Wrapped in jewels and detailed in bold pink, this cake was sure to impress.
